Steve is the co-founder and President of Qonto, the leading European business finance solution.

Steve studied at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), the University of Tokyo and INSEAD, and started his career at Deloitte and Groupon. In 2013, he founded Smok.io together with Alexandre - acquired by a Fortune 500 company - and experienced the frustrations of business banking. They decided to join forces once again and launched Qonto in 2017 with one objective in mind: to make everyday banking easier for SMEs and freelancers thanks to an online business account that's combined with invoicing, bookkeeping, and spend management tools.

Qonto today serves 450,000 clients with 1,400+ employees and 5 offices across Europe.
